On the Road Again

Ken and Chris have hit the road this week to get to where you, the people of Manitoba’s great Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba, live.  Tuesday evening Ken had the opportunity, along with Ron and Hugh, to speak to the Brandon Spring PC Manitoba fundraising banquet.

Our hats go off to Will Goodon and Kelli Saunders, the co-chairs of the banquet and their team of volunteers who worked to make the event so successful. (more…)

The Legend Grows

On St. Patrick’s Day 2005 Ken and Chris Waddell were in Montreal to serve as delegates to the CPC national convention.

Just one year later on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day 2006 Ken and Chris were once again at a political event. Supported by family and supporters Ken had the privilege of being one of three candidates speaking at the Winnipeg PC Manitoba Spring Dinner at Canad Inns Polo Park.

In the evening, with more than 600 in attendance, Ken Waddell had the opportunity to be the lead speaker among the three candidates. After the event we caught up to Ken to ask him how he felt the event had gone. (more…)

Waddell Ignored but Scrapping for Attention

THE BLACK ROD – They say the first impression is the strongest. And our first impression of Ken Waddell is that he’s a scrapper. Which could be fun to watch, given how the race for leader of the Manitoba Tories has been so listless that the Winnipeg Free Press was driven to write an editorial about it.

Because his base of operations isn’t Winnipeg, his campaign for the leadership of the Manitoba Progressive Conservative Party has flown under the radar of the mainstream media’s reporters. But being an unknown to the big media players isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Ken Waddell Files Nomination Papers

At the Legislative BuildingOn Tuesday, March 14, Ken Waddell filed his official nomination papers at PC Manitoba headquarters at 23 Kennedy Street in Winnipeg. Several news media outlets came by to shoot TV footage and to interview Ken about his leadership race.

Earlier in the day, Ken and his wife Christine attended the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce breakfast to hear Manitoba Auditor General Jon Singleton make his report on government finances. (more…) This is a Sunrize Group internet solution (204)226-2247
