Our Mission Statement


Each person’s financial situation is unique.  Cambridge Accounting and Tax is dedicated to assisting clients in the preparation of their tax returns so that you pay the least amount of taxes required by law.

Your life is shaped by memorable moments, some are full of happiness and some are to be endured.  Getting married, having a new baby, relocating for a new job, retiring, separation or divorce.  Each of these life events can have major changes to your tax situation and must be monitored with a view to claiming all deductions and credits which apply to the new situation.

Biography of Hazel Kryzanowski

Hazel has been a member of our tax team since 1991.  Her knowledge and hard work ensures that all client tax returns are accurate and complete.  Hazel’s friendly way and ability to remember most of the clients names have made her popular with our client base in excess of 2000 clients.

Steps we take:


At Cambridge Accounting and Tax we want to make certain we claim every tax credit and deduction to which you are entitled.  We review all your slips.  If you are a return client we compare your previous years’ tax return to the current tax year and note any discrepancies or changes.

We check to see if you have any of the following deductions or credits:

  • Interest and dividends (T5 slips)
  • Support for a child, spouse or common-law partner
  • RRSP contributions
  • Professional fees or union dues
  • Medical expenses
  • Tuition/education amounts for qualifying students (T2202 slip)
  • Transit passes
  • Charitable donations
  • Political contributions
  • Child care expenses
  • Children’s fitness or arts programs
  • Moving expenses
  • Interest paid on student loans
  • Carrying charges and interest expenses

In addition there may be requirements for additional documentation such as:

  • Declaration of Conditions of Employment (T2200)
  • Capital gains/losses records
  • Business income and expense records
  • Automobile/travel logbooks
  • Rental income and expense records
  • Automobile expenses
  • Travel expenses
  • In-home office expenses
